Support and Maintenance
With the launch, a project is not finished; instead, ongoing operation begins. A website needs care to stay secure, fast and current. The following questions illuminate how we continue to accompany you after launch, in detail also on our website maintenance page.
- What happens after the launch of my website? After the launch, the actual operation begins. On request, we take over the ongoing care: updates, backups, security and monitoring. But you can also take care of your content yourself while we only look after the technology in the background. What suits you, you decide yourself, and we adapt to it.
- Why does my website need maintenance? A website consists of software that must be updated regularly. Without updates, security gaps arise that attackers can exploit. Outdated software is the most common gateway for automated attacks. Maintenance keeps your site secure and current and ensures that outages are detected early.
- Can you also support a website that is not from you? Yes, that happens frequently. We also take over existing websites that were originally built by someone else. First, we check the current condition, bring the site to a secure state and then support it on an ongoing basis. So you do not need to have had your site created by us.
- How quickly do you respond to problems? That depends on the chosen maintenance package. Through our monitoring, we often learn of outages before you notice them and can react. We agree the exact response times with you clearly in advance. Since you have a dedicated contact, you do not have to fight your way through a hotline first in case of a problem.
- Can my website be extended later? Yes, at any time. Your website grows with your company. You can later add additional pages, add an online shop or have new functions built in. Because we rely on maintainable, open technology, such extensions are possible without complications, without the whole site having to be rebuilt.
- Am I bound to a long-term contract? We rely on fair, transparent terms. We discuss the durations and conditions of the maintenance openly in advance, so you know exactly what you are getting into. You are also not bound to us, because your website and your content belong to you. A vendor lock-in that makes switching difficult is not our way.
